UWindsor Film Festival 2005

Two years ago, in 2005, Min Bae (a production professor) thought it was high time to start an annual Film Festival. So with that aspiration in mind and a small crew they set forth to bring Windsor and the University a Film Festival.

The first annual Film Festival ran for two days, each day containing different films. The Festival received about 50 entrees and showed about 24 of them. The viewings were about 2-3 hours in length, which included two witty hosts, a word from the director and awards. Everything from submission to admission to the viewings was free. It was a smaller venue then the past year, and only sat about 160 people, which sadly did not fill up, which can probably be chalked up to inefficient advertising.
